Volunteer Opportunities - Shoestring City Ranch If you enjoy being outside, working with your hands, helping animals, we could sure use your help. If you would like to volunteer with Shoestring City Ranch, we have two ranches, one in Phelan, CA and the other in Big Bear City, CA Please see our website link above for the sample list of activities.  Please wear close toed shoes, bring lots of water and a lunch for yourself.
